PAUL HODGSON

Senior Sales Executive

I passed test at 17 in 1988 and have worked in the bike industry from age 21 (29 years) - Honda, Aprilia, BMW and now KTM. Here in Chester for nine years.

Over the years I've owned a Suzuki A100, Honda CB250N, Kawasaki GPZ305, Kawasaki KLR650, Yamaha XV550, Honda XBR500, Honda VT600C, Honda Transalp, Honda CBR600F, Suzuki GSX1100 Katana, Yamaha XJ750 Seca, Honda VFR750 and now ride a Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa. I ride every day and cover around 14000 miles a year.

After 10 years of brutal global travel I sought something nearer to home for my run down to retirement and found a home here at Chester KTM. I'm excited to learn about the brand and their motorcycles.

I have ridden for over 48 years, over a million miles on every continent, except Antarctica, own five BMW bikes, regularly touring on my R1200RT, especially Scotland and Ireland, and I'm really looking forward to trying the KTM 390 and 890 Adventure.

I've been riding 12 years, having 6 bikes in 4 years. I like the opportunity to ride everything and anything I can get my hands on, I dont own a bike currently as I seem to be our shop's test pilot running in the demonstrator fleet in my spare time. My KTM weapon of choice would be a 690 SMC R
