One-of-a-kind KTM 890 Adventure Dakar unveiled

Unveiling an exclusive masterpiece, the distinctive livery of our latest creation pays homage to the iconic 990 Super Adventure from 2008. Crafted in collaboration with Manchester-based graphic specialists FMG, this unique design brings the spirit of adventure to life.

Fraser Barsby, our Head of Marketing at the Little Stanney showroom, played a pivotal role in shaping this exceptional bike. Reflecting on its creation, he shared: 

“This iconic bike has always ignited my adventurous spirit. I envisioned the incredible routes I explored in the Sahara during my Land Rover Defender expeditions, dreaming of experiencing them on the back of a bike."

Inspired by 'The Long Way Round' and the sight of fellow bikers navigating the dunes, a decade later, in his 'dream job,' Barsby seized the opportunity to bring this dream to reality and share it with fellow 'dune-hooligans.'

Exclusively available at Chester KTM, only five Dakars will be offered, with one already pre-sold and another proudly residing in Barsby’s garage.

This limited-edition bike features heavy-duty hand guards, a one-piece seat, and the complete graphics kit, all included in the £10,999 price tag.
